Last year lang ay lumipat ako ng kumpanya. Well the usual na dahilan of course - better compensation. But when I GOT IN, honestly hindi lang yung magandang sahod at awesome na benefits na nagustuhan ko kundi pati na rin yung suporta nila sa mga empleyado nila at sa komunidad na rin - tawag nila dito ay Corporate Social Responsibility. Which is something na sobrang malapit sa puso ko!
Eh nano naman ba ang ibig sabihin ng Corporate Social Responsibility?

Corporate Social Responsibility or CSR has been defined by Lord Holme and Richard Watts in The World Business Council for Sustainable Development’s publication ‘Making Good Business Sense’ as “…the continuing commitment by business to behave ethically and contribute to economic development while improving the quality of life of the workforce and their families as well as the local community and society at large".
Kung medyo nalalabuan ka pa ganito na lang, isipin mo na ito yung PAY IT FORWARD scheme ng mga malalaking kumpanya at mga korporasyon. Yung tipong mga charity works nila. This is how they create a positive impact on society while doing business.
Based on what I know, lahat ng kumpanya ay may two point agenda- to improve qualitatively (the management of people and processes) and quantitatively (the impact on society). Yung pangalawa is as important as the first and stake holders of every company are increasingly taking an interest in “the outer circle”-the activities of the company and how these are impacting the environment and society.

Going back, I said that you cannot tell people what they should do (from my first post). Sa ADP PH, I met a lot of great people who shared the same interest and passion as I do, especially pagdating sa pagtulong sa kapwa, charity, volunteers, saka mga outreach programs. In fact even the general manager himself lend me a hand in one of my outreach programs. It is one of the company's advocacy - CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY!

I have been with quite a few companies here in Metro Manila but ADP PH is honestly the only one that really placed its prime towards giving back to the community. Sa ngayon, we have what we call as the C.I.R.C.L.E Program (you will find out more about the C.I.R.C.L.E. once you become part of our company) which is geared towards corporate social responsibility. It is divided into three pillars - Community, Learning, and Environment.

Bukod sa mga sports fest at outing at team building... Ito talaga yung activity na pinaka gusto ko! Masarap kasi yung feeling na alam mong hindi lang sa pamamagitan ng pera ka makakatulong at nakakatulong sa iba. Alam mo yung habang tulog ka napakagaan ng pakiramdam mo kasi hindi alam na sa isang sulok ng daigdig merong munting tinig na nagdadasal para sayo.
Sabi ng associate ko during one of my 1on1 sessions with him, "WORK HAPPY, BE HAPPY." I am truly happy right now and all that you see here in this page are just actually but ONE OF THE MANY REASONS why I want to stay @ ADP.
